This week we continue with the theme
of Bloom's Taxonomy.
The teacher left us two activities
that consisted of looking for definitions
for us to know the meaning of new words (verbs)
that help us to understand more about the topic
of Bloom's Taxonomy.
These were the verbs to define:
● Recognizing: To acknowledge formally: to admit as being of a
particular status recognize a precedent recognize a union specifically
: to acknowledge (as a right, cause of action, or defense) as valid.
● Listing: Listing is a published list, or an item in a published list.
In composition, listing is a discovery (or prewriting) strategy in which
the writer develops a list of words and phrases, images and ideas.
● Describing: Describing is defined as giving details about a
person, thing or event.
● Identifying: Identify as someone/something. To say that you
belong to a particular group or category; to describe yourself as
belonging to that group or category.
● Retrieving: Get or bring (something) back; regain possession.
● Naming: Namingnoun. The process of giving names to things.
namingnoun. The act of announcing the name of a person,
organization etc. The newspaper has a policy against naming its
sources.
● Locating: Location plays a huge role in attracting and
retaining the best employees, many of whom keep a close
eye on where they're based in order to optimize work-life
balance. Good location decisions can significantly boost a
company's long-term performance.
● Finding: A finding is a discovery, especially by scholars or
scientists. Finding is the act of researching or analyzing something.
